バート・フリーマン・バカラック（1928年5月12日 - 2023年2月8日）は、アメリカの作曲家、ソングライター、レコードプロデューサー、ピアニストであり、20世紀のポピュラー音楽における最も重要で影響力のある人物の一人として広く認識されています。1950年代から、彼は数百曲のポップソングを作曲し、多くは作詞家ハル・デイヴィッドとのコラボレーションによるものです。バカラックの音楽は、ジャズのバックグラウンドに影響を受けた独特の和音進行や拍子の変化、そして小編成オーケストラのための珍しい楽器の選択が特徴です。彼は自身の録音作品の多くを編曲し、指揮し、プロデュースしました。
