クリスタ・ペフゲン（1938年10月16日 - 1988年7月18日）、ステージ名ニコとして知られる彼女は、ドイツの歌手、ソングライター、女優、モデルでした。フェデリコ・フェリーニの『甘い生活』（1960年）やアンディ・ウォーホルの『チェルシー・ガールズ』（1966年）など、いくつかの映画に出演しました。レビュアーのリチャード・ゴールドスタインはニコを「半分は女神、半分は氷のつらら」と表現し、彼女の独特の声は「朝起きるチェロのように聞こえる」と書いています。
