カート・ドナルド・コバーン（1967年2月20日 - 1994年4月5日頃）は、グランジバンド・ニルヴァーナのリードシンガー兼ギタリストとして最も知られる、欧州系アメリカ人のシンガーソングライター、ミュージシャン、アーティストでした。 コバーンは1985年にワシントン州アバディーンでクリスト・ノヴォセリックと共にニルヴァーナを結成し、シアトルの音楽シーンの一部として確立しました。1989年にインディペンデントレコードレーベルSub Popからデビューアルバム『Bleach』をリリースしました。メジャーレーベルDGCレコーズと契約した後、バンドは1991年のセカンドアルバム『Nevermind...
