ジェシー・ルイス・ジャクソン・シニアは、アメリカの公民権活動家でバプテストの牧師です。彼は1984年と1988年の民主党大統領候補に立候補し、1991年から1997年までコロンビア特別区の影の上院議員を務めました。彼はレインボー/PUSHを形成するために合併した二つの団体の創設者です。代表のジェシー・ジャクソン・ジュニアは彼の長男です。2006年2月のAP-AOL「ブラック・ボイス」調査では、ジャクソンは「最も重要な黒人リーダー」として選ばれました。
