ジョン・クレイトン・メイヤー（1977年10月16日生まれ）は、アメリカのミュージシャンです。コネチカット州フェアフィールドで育ち、ボストンのバークリー音楽大学に通った後、1997年にジョージア州アトランタに移り、そこでスキルを磨き、フォロワーを獲得しました。彼の最初の2枚のスタジオアルバム『ルーム・フォー・スクエアーズ』と『ヘヴィアー・シングス』は商業的に成功し、マルチプラチナの地位を達成しました。2003年には「Your Body Is a Wonderland」で最優秀男性ポップボーカルパフォーマンスのグラミー賞を受賞しました。
