経歴・プロフィール
ロビンズはロンドンで生まれ、当時家族と共に住んでいたハートフォードシャー州ヒッチンでアマチュアの演劇に出演した後、銀行員から俳優に転身しました。ロビンズは『ロール・オン・ブルーミン・デス』でコックニーの兵士としてテレビデビューを果たしました。主にコメディ俳優として知られ、人気シットコム『オン・ザ・バス』(1969–73)では、オリーブ（アナ・カレン）の皮肉屋の夫アーサー・ラッジ役で特に記憶されています。ロビンズとカレンは、バスデポでのレグ・バーニーのコメディ・キャペーズに対する二次的なコメディストーリーを提供しました。ロビンズは映画版『オン・ザ・バス』、続編『ミューティニー・オン・ザ・バス』、...
