経歴・プロフィール
エリッサ・ダウリングは、8歳の時にニューヨーク・バレエ団の「くるみ割り人形」で踊り始め、早くもパフォーマンスへの欲望を抱いていました。11歳の時には即興劇団とツアーに招待され、アドリブの技術を磨く貴重な経験を得ました。13歳には「リトルショップ・オブ・ホラーズ」などの舞台作品に出演し、テレビデビューを果たしました。その際には「ロッキー・ホラー・ショー」のオープニングテーマを歌う悪名高い唇として登場しました。舞台からスクリーンへの移行はエリッサにとって成功を収め、彼女の広範な演技力はトランスヴェスタイトのバーテンダー、弁護士、連続殺人犯、さらにはニューヨークのゴシック・ドミナトリックスなど、ユニ...
