アイリーン・ハンドル（1901年12月27日 - 1987年11月29日）は、100本以上のイギリス映画に出演したイギリスのキャラクター女優であり、小説も執筆していました。 アイリーン・ハンドルはロンドンのメイダヴェールで生まれ、オーストリア出身の父フリードリッヒ（後のフレデリック・ハンドル、1874年 - 1961年）とドイツ人の母マリー（旧姓シップまたはシュエップ、1875年 - 1924年以前）の二人の娘のうちの末っ子でした。ハンドルの両親はイギリスに帰化しました。父はスイスを経由してイギリスに渡り、銀行員として始まり、その後株式仲買人となり、最終的にはプライベートバンカーになりました...
