アレクセイ・デイヴィッド・セイルは、イギリスの俳優、作家、スタンダップコメディアン、テレビプレゼンター、元レコーディングアーティストです。彼は1980年代のイギリスのオルタナティブコメディ運動の中心人物でした。2007年にはチャンネル4の「100人の偉大なスタンダップコメディアン」で18位に選ばれました。2010年の更新された投票では72位にランクインしました。 セイルのユーモアの多くは、スパイク・ミリガンやモンティ・パイソンの伝統に根ざしており、しばしば不条理でシュールな前提に基づいたリフが特徴です。彼のパフォーマンスは、シニシズムや政治的意識、さらには身体的コメディで知られています。
