トム・マッカマスはカナダの舞台、映画、テレビの俳優で、サイエンスフィクションテレビシリーズ「ミュータントX」での悪役メイソン・エッカートとして最も知られています。また、長編映画「制服の男が好き」と「ウォルター・グレツキー物語：ウォルターを目覚めさせる」での受賞歴のある演技や、アカデミー賞にノミネートされたドラマ「ルーム」での助演役でも知られています。彼はカナダ・オンタリオ州のウィンザー大学で演劇のBFAを取得しています。
