ダグラス・ノエル・アダムス（1952年3月11日 - 2001年5月11日）は、イギリスの作家、ユーモリスト、劇作家です。彼は『銀河ヒッチハイカーガイド』の著者として最もよく知られており、1978年にBBCのラジオコメディとして始まり、その後5冊の「三部作」として発展しました。生前に1500万部以上が売れ、テレビシリーズ、いくつかの舞台劇、コミック、コンピュータゲーム、そして2005年には映画化もされました。アダムスのイギリスのラジオへの貢献は、ラジオアカデミーの殿堂で記念されています。
