ジョアンナ・ペットは、1942年11月16日生まれのイギリスの引退した女優です。ペットはイギリスのロンドンで生まれ、ハロルド・ナイジェル・エガートン・サルモンとセシリー・J・トレメインの娘です。両親は1940年にロンドンのチェルシーで結婚しました。彼女の父親はイギリス空軍のパイロットで、1943年に第二次世界大戦で亡くなりました。戦後、母親は再婚しモントリオールに移り住み、ジョアンナは義父に養子縁組され、「ペット」という姓を名乗るようになりました。
