ジョーイ・ビショップは、フランク・シナトラ、ピーター・ローフォード、サミー・デイヴィス・ジュニア、ディーン・マーチンと共に「ラットパック」のメンバーとして最もよく知られているアメリカのエンターテイナーでした。ビショップは1948年にはテレビに出演し、最終的には自身の週刊コメディシリーズに主演し、トークショーのホストも務めました。
