ロマン・ポランスキー（1933年8月18日生まれ）は、ポーランド系フランス人の映画監督、プロデューサー、作家、俳優です。パリでポーランド人の両親のもとに生まれたポランスキーは、1937年に家族と共にポーランドに移住しました。ホロコーストを生き延びた後、ポランスキーはポーランドで教育を続け、アートハウス映画と商業映画の両方で批評家に高く評価される監督となりました。ポランスキーの初の長編映画『水の中のナイフ』（1962年）はポーランドで制作され、アカデミー賞外国語映画賞にノミネートされました。それ以来、彼はさらに5回のオスカーにノミネートされ、2002年には映画『戦場のピアニスト』で監督賞を受賞し...
