ジョン・カーレン（本名ジョン・アダム・カーレウィッツ）は、アメリカのキャラクター俳優で、ABCの連続ドラマ『ダーク・シャドウズ』でウィリー・ルーミス、カール・コリンズ、ウィリアム・H・ルーミス、デズモンド・コリンズ、アレックス・ジェンキンズ、ケンドリック・ヤングなどの多くの役を演じました。このシリーズは1966年から1971年まで放送されました。また、カーレンはCBSの犯罪シリーズ『キャグニー&レイシー』（1982–88）で、メアリー・ベス・レイシー（タイナ・デイリーが演じる）の夫ハーヴェイ・レイシーを演じました。
