経歴・プロフィール
スタンリー・タウンゼント（1961年8月生まれ）はアイルランドの俳優です。タウンゼントはダブリンで生まれ育ちました。ダブリンのウェズリー・カレッジに通った後、トリニティ・カレッジで数学と土木工学を学びました。その間、彼はダブリン大学プレイヤーズという大学のアマチュア劇団に参加しました。後に、作家・監督のデクラン・ヒューズと演出家のリン・パーカーと共に、共同劇団ラフ・マジックを設立し、『カントリー・ワイフ』、『ナイトシェイド』、そして『シカゴの性的倒錯』などの多くの作品に出演しました。その後、ダブリンのゲート劇場とアビー劇場でいくつかの作品に出演しました。ロンドンでは、サム・メンデスの『プラウと...
