経歴・プロフィール
ロバート・アレクサンダー・ファラー・サーマンは、アメリカの仏教作家であり学者で、チベット仏教に関するいくつかの書籍を執筆、編集、翻訳してきました。彼は、2019年6月に退職するまで、コロンビア大学のインド・チベット仏教研究におけるジェ・ツォン・カパ椅子という西洋初の寄付講座を保持していました。
