経歴・プロフィール
チェスター・コルテス・トンプソンはアメリカの音楽家です。彼は主にドラマー、パーカッショニスト、セッションミュージシャン、プロデューサー、教師として活動しています。トンプソンは、1973年から1975年までフランク・ザッパとザ・マザーズ・オブ・インヴェンション、1977年から1992年までプログレッシブ・ロックバンドのジェネシス、そして2007年にも再びジェネシスと共演したことで最も知られています。彼は2011年に結成されたジャズグループ、チェスター・トンプソン・トリオの現メンバーでもあります。
