チェスター・コルテス・トンプソンはアメリカのミュージシャンです。主にドラマー、パーカッショニスト、セッションミュージシャン、プロデューサー、教師として活動しています。トンプソンは、1973年から1975年までフランク・ザッパとザ・マザーズ・オブ・インヴェンションと、1977年から1992年、そして2007年にプログレッシブ・ロックバンドのジェネシスと共に活動したことで最も知られています。彼は2011年に結成されたジャズグループ、チェスター・トンプソン・トリオの現メンバーでもあります。
