セオドア・ルーズベルト・ジュニア（1858年10月27日 - 1919年1月6日）、通称テディまたはT.R.は、アメリカ合衆国の第26代大統領であり、1901年から1909年まで在任しました。ルーズベルトは以前、ニューヨークの政治に関与しており、州の第33代知事を2年間務めました。彼は1901年にウィリアム・マッキンリー大統領の下で第25代副大統領を6ヶ月間務め、マッキンリーの暗殺後に大統領職を引き継ぎました。大統領として、ルーズベルトは共和党の指導者として浮上し、反トラストおよび進歩的政策の推進力となりました。
