ピーター・ロレ (1904年6月26日 - 1964年3月23日) は、しばしば不気味な外国人としてタイプキャストされるハンガリー系アメリカ人俳優です。 彼は1931年にドイツ映画『M』で少女を狙う連続殺人犯を演じ、国際的なセンセーションを巻き起こしました。その後、ハリウッドの犯罪映画やミステリーで人気のある出演者となり、特にハンフリー・ボガートやシドニー・グリーンストリートと共演し、成功した『ミスター・モト』探偵シリーズの主演として知られています。
