経歴・プロフィール
エレイン・ジル・ペイジ OBE（旧姓ビッカースタッフ、1948年3月5日生まれ）は、イギリスの歌手兼女優で、ミュージカル・シアターでの活躍で最も知られています。ハートフォードシャー州バーネットで育ったペイジは、アイダ・フォスター・シアター・スクールに通い、1964年に16歳で初めてプロとしてステージに立ちました。1968年の『ヘア』のプロダクションでの出演が彼女のウェストエンドデビューとなりました。 その後の10年間でいくつかの役を演じた後、ペイジは1978年にアンドリュー・ロイド・ウェバーの『エビータ』の初演でエバ・ペロンを演じることに選ばれ、広く一般に知られるようになりました。この役で、...
