パット・ラファンは、映画『ザ・スナッパー』のジョージー・バーゲス役や、テレビシリーズ『ファーザー・テッド』のエピソード「スピード3」に登場する牛乳配達人パット・マスタード役で知られるアイルランドの俳優でした。ラファンはミース県の農場で育ち、UCDで工学を卒業後、俳優としてのキャリアをスタートさせました。彼は多作な舞台俳優であり、1960年代と1970年代にはアビー・シアター・カンパニーのメンバーであり、1970年代のほとんどの期間、ピーコック・シアターのディレクターを務めました。1979年から1982年までゲート・シアターで演出を行いました。ラファンは、スティーブン・スピルバーグの『戦火の馬』...
