経歴・プロフィール
父親が映画監督のダリオ・アルジェント、母親は女優ダリア・ニコロディという芸能一家に育つ。9歳で子役として映画デビューを果たし、89年の「赤いシュート」にナンニ・モレッティの娘役として出演。大評判となる。その後もパトリス・シェロー監督の「王妃マルゴ」（95）など国内外を問わず活躍する。その一方で、映画製作も始め、ドキュメンタリー作品から入り、00年には「スカーレット・ディーバ」で長編映画監督デビューを果たした。女優業では02年「トリプルX」でハリウッドデビューも果たした。
