リー・ハーヴィー・オズワルドはアメリカのマルクス主義者であり、元アメリカ海兵隊員で、ウォーレン委員会は彼が1963年11月22日にアメリカ合衆国大統領ジョン・F・ケネディを暗殺したと結論づけました。オズワルドは海兵隊から名誉除隊され、1959年10月にソビエト連邦に亡命しました。
