経歴・プロフィール
ダラスの卸売石炭業者の息子であるノーブルは、若い頃の多くをビリヤード場や映画館で過ごしました。彼は生涯を通じてビリヤードキューの技術を保持し、映画によって刺激された演技への強い興味は、地元の舞台製作や南メソジスト大学での演劇研究に現れました。第二次世界大戦で海軍に従事した後、ノーブルはニューヨークに行き、アクターズスタジオで学び、その後『ピグマリオン』の舞台復活に参加し、そこで将来の妻である女優キャロリン・コーツと出会いました。彼は『アズ・ザ・ワールド・ターンズ』（1956年）、『ア・ワールド・アパート』（1970年）などのテレビソープオペラや、ブロードウェイの『1776』などに出演し（この役...
