経歴・プロフィール
米ウィスコンシン州出身。90年代からMVやCMを手がけ、ジョージ・A・ロメロの「ゾンビ」をリメイクした「ドーン・オブ・ザ・デッド」（04）で映画監督デビュー。 続いて手がけた人気グラフィックノベルの映画化「300 スリーハンドレッド」（06）では陰影の強い独自の映像世界で注目を集め、その後も「ウォッチメン」（09）、「エンジェル ウォーズ」（11）とビジュアルにこだわった話題作を発表する。「ガフールの伝説」（10）では3DフルCGアニメーションに挑戦し、スーパーマン新シリーズ「マン・オブ・スティール」（13）と続編「バットマン vs スーパーマン ジャスティスの誕生」（16）でもメガホンをと...
