ジョン・シドニー・オルコットは、カナダ生まれの映画プロデューサー、監督、俳優、脚本家でした。カレムスタジオのために「ベン・ハー」（1907年）の劇的な戦車競走シーンを含むいくつかの非常に成功した映画を制作した後、オルコットは会社の社長となり、株式の1株を報酬として与えられました。
