経歴・プロフィール
デイヴィッド・パウエル（1883年12月17日、スコットランド・グラスゴー - 1925年4月16日、ニューヨーク市）は、サイレント映画時代のスコットランド生まれの舞台および映画俳優である。20代の頃、パウエルはサー・ハーバート・ビアボーム・ツリー、エレン・テリー、ジョンストン・フォーブス＝ロバートソンの舞台会社に出演した。1907年には、テリーと共にブロードウェイでショーの『キャプテン・ブラスバウンドの改宗』の最初のアメリカ公演に出演した。 1912年にパウエルは1〜3リールの短編映画で映画キャリアをスタートさせた。1920年代初頭には、いくつかのパラマウント制作のイギリス映画に主演した。...
