ズービン・メータ（1936年4月29日生まれ）は、インド出身の西洋および東洋のクラシック音楽の指揮者です。彼はイスラエル・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団（IPO）の名誉音楽監督であり、ロサンゼルス・フィルハーモニックの名誉指揮者です。 メータは1961年から1967年までモントリオール交響楽団の音楽監督を務め、1962年から1978年までロサンゼルス・フィルハーモニックの音楽監督を務めました。彼は北米の主要オーケストラの中で最も若い音楽監督です。1969年にはイスラエル・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の音楽顧問に任命され、1981年には生涯音楽監督に就任しました。1978年から1991年まで、メータはニ...
