経歴・プロフィール
マイケル・デイヴィッド・ウッド（OBE FSA、1948年7月23日生まれ）は、イギリスの歴史家であり放送者です。彼は1970年代後半から現在まで、多くの著名なテレビドキュメンタリーシリーズを制作してきました。ウッドはまた、『ダークエイジを求めて』、『ドゥームズデイ・クエスト』、『イングランドの物語』、および『シェイクスピアを求めて』など、イギリスの歴史に関するいくつかの本も執筆しています。彼は2013年にマンチェスター大学の公共歴史学教授に任命されました。
