アレック・ギネス卿 CH, CBE はイギリスの俳優でした。彼はイーリング・コメディのいくつかに出演し、『心優しき者たち』では8つの異なるキャラクターを演じました。後に『戦場にかける橋』でニコルソン大佐の役を演じ、アカデミー賞最優秀主演男優賞を受賞しました。彼はオリジナルの『スター・ウォーズ』三部作でオビ＝ワン・ケノービを演じたことで最もよく知られています。また、『アラビアのロレンス』ではフェイサル王子を、『ティンカー・テイラー・ソルジャー・スパイ』のテレビ版ではジョージ・スマイリーを演じました。
