アル・ブリッジはアメリカのキャラクター俳優で、ウェスタンやプレストン・スタージェスのコメディにおいて欠かせない存在でした。 しばしばアラン・ブリッジとしてクレジットされましたが、彼は1891年にペンシルベニア州フィラデルフィアでアルフレッド・モートン・ブリッジとして生まれました（彼の墓石に誤って記載されている1890年のアルフォード・ブリッジではありません）。 第一次世界大戦でアメリカ陸軍歩兵の軍曹としての任務を終えた後、ブリッジは劇団に参加しました。彼は執筆にも手を出し、1930年には短編映画『彼女の雇われた夫』の脚本を売りました。続いて1931年にはBウェスタンの脚本『神の国と男』を書...
