経歴・プロフィール
ピーター・エドワード・「ジンジャー」・ベイカー（1939年8月19日生まれ）は、イギリスのドラマーであり、ロックバンド「クリーム」の創設者でした。1960年代の彼の作品は「ロックの初のスーパースター・ドラマー」として称賛されましたが、彼の個性的なスタイルはジャズのバックグラウンドとアフリカのリズムへの興味を融合させたものでした。ベイカーは、ジャズ・フュージョン、ヘヴィメタル、ワールドミュージックなどのジャンルにおけるドラミングの先駆者として評価されています。
