経歴・プロフィール
ウィリアム・ケネディ・ローリー・ディクソンはスコットランドの発明家で、エジソン製造会社の公式写真家でした。1889年、彼は提案された映画装置「キネトスコープ」のコンセプトを現実のものにする任務を与えられました。最初の動作するプロトタイプは1891年5月に発表され、システムの設計は1892年の秋までに基本的に完成しました。完成版のキネトスコープは1893年5月9日にブルックリン美術科学研究所で正式に発表されました。
