ジョン・ジオルノはアメリカの詩人でパフォーマンスアーティストでした。彼は非営利の制作会社「ジオルノ・ポエトリー・システムズ」を設立し、ダイヤル・ア・ポエムを含む初期のマルチメディア詩の実験やイベントをいくつか組織しました。彼はアンディ・ウォーホルの映画「スリープ」の主題として注目を集めました。
