経歴・プロフィール
マリー・ウォルキャンプはサイレント映画時代のアメリカの女優で、主に西部劇を含む連続映画で「アクションヒロイン」としての役割を専門としていました。ニューヨークで様々な役を得た後、1913年にユニバーサル・スタジオと契約し、19歳で映画「狼男」にキャスティングされました。マリー・ウォルキャンプは1913年から1927年までの間に100本以上の映画作品に出演しました。1936年11月17日、彼女はうつ病に苦しみ、ロサンゼルスのアパートでガスを開けて自殺しました。
