ドロシー・ダベンポート（1895年3月13日 - 1977年10月12日）は、アメリカの女優、脚本家、映画監督、プロデューサーであり、D.W.グリフィスの指導の下、ビオグラフ・スタジオでサイレント映画に出演しました。 1919年にオレゴンで『巨人の谷』のロケ中、ウォレス・リードは列車事故で負傷しました。この怪我の痛みを和らげるために、スタジオの医師たちはリードに大量のモルヒネを投与し、彼は依存症になりました。リードの健康は次第に悪化し、1923年に依存症で亡くなりました。リードの死後、ダベンポートとトーマス・インスは、ジェームズ・カークウッド・シニア、ベッシー・ラブ、ルシール・リクセンと共に...
