エセル・ウェールズ（1878年4月4日 - 1952年2月15日）は、アメリカの女優であり、30年間のキャリアの中で130本の映画に出演しました。彼女は、人気絶頂のメアリー・ピックフォードのビジネスマネージャーであったウェリントン・E・ウェールズ（1886年–1954年）の最初の妻でした。夫婦には一人の息子、ウェリントン・チャールズ・ウェールズ（1918年–1966年）がいて、彼はニューヨーク・タイムズの編集者であり、19歳の息子サミュエルが列車事故で亡くなった直後に心臓発作で亡くなりました。彼女の二番目の夫は俳優のハル・タリアファーロでした。
