エセル・ウェールズ（1878年4月4日 - 1952年2月15日）は、アメリカの女優で、30年間のキャリアの中で130本の映画に出演しました。彼女はウェリントン・E・ウェールズ（1886年–1954年）の最初の妻であり、メアリー・ピックフォードの人気絶頂期のビジネスマネージャーでした。夫婦には一人の息子、ウェリントン・チャールズ・ウェールズ（1918年–1966年）がいて、彼はニューヨーク・タイムズの編集者であり、19歳の息子サミュエルが列車事故で亡くなった直後に心臓発作で亡くなりました。彼女の二人目の夫は俳優のハル・タリアファーロでした。
