バジル・ルイスデール（1888年7月24日 - 1960年10月10日）は、アメリカの映画俳優およびオペラ歌手でした。 彼は1900年代初頭にメトロポリタン歌劇団のバリトン歌手としてキャリアをスタートし、1918年にはニューヨークの舞台に出演しました。1923年にカリフォルニアに移り、多くの俳優の声楽教師を務めました。自ら演技に挑戦するよう勧められ、1929年の『ココナッツ』で映画デビューを果たしました。その後30年間、彼は『安息の地へ』（1949年）、『ブロークン・アロー』（1950年）、『人々は語る』（1951年）、『最後の大喝采』（1958年）、『馬の兵士たち』（1960年）などの映画...
